Newly Single Britney Spears Is Secretly Texting Ex Adnan Ghalib!

Britney Spears may have split from cheating boyfriend David Lucado last week, but she's finding comfort in a controversial ex.

Insiders tell RadarOnline.com that the newly single pop star is texting her former boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib.

"They never really stopped talking," a source close to the 32-year-old mother of two- who dated the photographer, 42, in 2008 before a judge placed her under conservatorship of her father, Jamie- exclusively tells Radar.

But Jamie, whom Britney has dubbed "crazy" protective, wouldn't approve of the continued communication, so the former couple has been messaging on the sly, the friend reveals.

"Jamie monitors Britney's cell phone, but she found a way to secretly text Adnan," the source explains.

In 2009, a Los Angeles judge slapped Ghalib with a restraining order forbidding him from having any contact with the singer for three years.
