Just how toxic was Britney Spears’ relationship with David Lucado? RadarOnline.com can reveal that before she dumped him exclusively that the reason the couple split after finding out about the existence of a video that showed him cheating, he was seen partying with another woman at a West Hollywood nightclub.

Lucado was spotted lavishing attention on a cute blonde at Micky’s in West Hollywood on August 2.

The duo “were dancing all night,” an eyewitness said. “They seemed really into each other.”

“David had his hands all over this woman,” the source continued to STAR. “If I were Britney, I’d be very concerned.”

Indeed, sources tell RadarOnline.com that just over two weeks later, their relationship would be rocked by another bombshell when Spears learned about the existence of a tape that allegedly showed Lucado cheating.

“Britney became aware of the video on August 26 and broke up with David,” a source told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “She was truly surprised and is devastated by the betrayal.”

On Thursday she tweeted, “Ahhh the single life!” But don’t expect Lucado to be airing his own opinion on the split any time soon.

“David is prohibited from discussing any relationship details or anything about Brintey because he signed a confidentiality agreement,” the source explained.

Her rep confirmed to RadarOnline.com, “Yes, she is single.”
