Ted Levine, best known for his role as Buffalo Bill in The Silence of the Lambs, petitioned a North Carolina court in 2012 to force the sale of his family’s barbecue restaurant, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
Come June 25, 2014, the auction will take place right at the courthouse, according to the documents filed.
“The undersigned Commissioners will on the 25th day of June, 2014 offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction, at the courthouse door in Onslow County, North Carolina, in Jacksonville at 12:00 noon . . .” the documents read.
A source tells Radar that the night before the auction of his family’s restaurant, Levine will appear at FX’s season two premiere screening of The Bridge, his newest show, at the Paley Center for Media in Los Angeles.
