Teresa Giudice is not going to let her man go to jail!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is Joe Giudice’s biggest supporter and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that she will be right next to him when he appears in court on May 28 to fight for his freedom.
“Joe has rejected all plea deals,” his high-powered attorney Miles Feinstein tells us exclusively.
“He is being singled out we believe because of his celebrity status and we have turned down all offers from the state because they want him to serve four to five years in state prison.”
Joe has been charged with assuming the identity of his brother, Pietro, in June 2010, in order to obtain a driving license after his own was suspended following a DWI five months earlier. Officials claim as part of the application Joe fraudulently used his younger brother’s marriage and birth certificates.
Feinstein says the reality TV couple will be standing side by side during court in May when the judge will set the final court date.
“Teresa will be a witness if Joe needs her to be but no matter what she completely believes him and she doesn’t want him to go to jail.”
Even though Bravo has finished filming the upcoming season of RHONJ, Joe’s attorney did not rule out the possibility for cameras to be in the courtroom.
“The state of New Jersey allows cameras if the Judge gives permission and the press has an absolute right to cover the proceedings. But Joe deserves the fairest possible jury and people already know about him since he is on television so I think it will take a long time to select jurors,” Feinstein says.
