The recently engaged Kandi, appearing Sunday night on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, told host Andy Cohen she’s not telling Kenya not to do a booty workout DVD, but says “why does it have to be just about (your) booty.. you’re taking her (Phaedra’s) idea.. do something else.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Kenya threatened to go head-to-head with Phaedra on Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta over the “donkey booty” workout DVD they were planning to collaborate on.
The two former friends fell out over Kenya’s budget demands and her desire to get 10-percent of the back-end profits.
When those negotiations broke down, the former Miss USA decided to make her own workout video.
And now it seems she has been letting everyone in Atlanta know that her “stallion booty” DVD will be better than Phaedra’s donkey booty workout.
Celebrity hairstylist Derek J broke the news to Kandi during one of her hair appointments. He said he bumped into Kenya at the Bronner Brothers International Hair Show.
“But it was kind of awkward,” he said, “because Kenya was like: ‘I want you [to] come work with me. I’m working on my video’.
“She’s doing a stallion booty video.”
When Kandi corrected him and said he probably meant the “donkey booty video,” Derek J said: “No, she’s not working with Phaedra or her donkey booty video. She’s going to do her own video called ‘Stallion Booty Video’.”
During the episode, Kandi immediately calls Phaedra and gets Derek J to tell her what Kenya said.
He tells Phaedra: “She was saying who wants a donkey butt? A donkey is broke down. It moves slow. She said a stallion is nice and strong.”
Naturally Phaedra was not amused. She said: “She’s trippin’ now because somebody brings an idea to you and you steal it.
“Ain’t nothing legit about doing nothing like that.”
Predicting that fireworks were set to go off, Kandi later told the camera: “C’mon, for real? You’re just gonna take her idea?
“Phaedra’s gonna go ham-burger on her ass.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo. Watch What Happens Live airs Sundays through Thursdays at 11/10c.
