Sherman Hemsley is Movin On Up to heaven.
The Jeffersons star, who is famous for playing patriarch George Jefferson on the hit show that spanned a decade, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 74 in El Paso Texas, according to police.
The Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actor, who first nabbed the role as George Jefferson on All in the Family, before landing the title lead in the spinoff show The Jeffersons in 1975, died in his home. He was not married and had no children.
