With much drama swirling around her family these days, Kim Kardashian passed on attending the 2012 People's Choice Awards Wednesday night, and instead got her hair done earlier in the day, but later took to Twitter to thank her fans after she was named Favorite TV Celebreality Star.

She tweeted following her win, "Thank you to everyone who voted for me tonight for the People's Choice Awards! It means the world to me! xoxo."

Kim -- who appeared on all of her family's reality franchises, including Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kourtney And Kim Take New York, Kim's Fairytale Wedding and Kourtney And Khloe Take Miami -- edged Gene Simmons, Giuliana Rancic, Kathy Griffin and the Mowry sisters for the honor.

When one of her followers wrote: "My sister @KimKardashian won "Favorite Reality TV Star" WOHOO! Boycott that s**t b*****s," Kim responded, "Haha! Preach sis!"

Kim likely skipped the show due to some heavy drama in her family tree as of late: Star exclusively reported that two of her late father Robert's former wives had expressed their doubts over Khloe's paternity.

Khloe tweeted Wednesday: "The audacity you have to mention my father’s name like this! Should be ashamed of urself! I let a lot of things slide but this one is really low… YOU ARE DISGUSTING! (yes you know who YOU are)."
