Even bad boys do a good deed here or there.
Jesse James claims he once held a job that required him to keep rapper Flavor Flav from buying crack cocaine.
Perhaps in an effort to take the attention off his own tarnished image, James told Piers Morgan in an interview that long before he was a household name he worked security for Flav’s group, Public Enemy, and was given the task.
“They had me drive around and follow him and make sure he didn’t buy crack from anyone in L.A. for a week,” James told Morgan.
Flav eventually had charges laid on him for cocaine and marijuana possession and entered rehab treatment numerous times.
James’ full interview with Morgan airs Thursday night on CNN at 9 p.m. EST.
