VIDEO: Mad Men's Jon Hamm Discusses Rags-To-Riches Career

From gathering the dirty dishes off tables to walking the red carpet, Jon Hamm has seen it all.
The uber-sexy actor, 37, discussed how he perceives his skyrocketing fame since his show, AMC's period drama Mad Men has become a smash with fans and critics alike, on Good Morning America Wednesday.
"Its been a weird few years," he said. "I'm pretty much the same person I've been since I moved out to LA and was unemployed and all that .... the last couple of years have been pretty surreal."

Hamm, who already has Golden Globe and SAG awards on his mantle place for his efforts on the series, discussed Mad Men's impressive 16 nominations for the upcoming Emmy awards.
"Its amazing," he said. "Its unexpected and its amazing to be validated by your peers in that way."
The third season of Mad Men premieres Sunday on AMC.
