NBC's John Reiss Still Fired

DEAR JOHN Zucker swings ax It's kind-of-almost-official: After we broke the news on Tuesday that John Reiss, the executive producer of NBC's Nightly News With Brian Williams, had been canned after losing the ratings race to ABC's Charles Gibson for two of the last four weeks, unnamed NBC News executives have confirmed his ouster to , Los Angeles Times, New York Post, and the AP.
No word yet on who will fill Reiss' shoes; an official announcement is expected today.
