Teresa Giudice was scheduled to leave prison this December, but RadarOnline.com has learned she has recently been in talks to get out as early as this summer!

According to an insider, Teresa inquired about obtaining a weekend pass to go visit her ailing parents, but dropped the plan after being told she’d need to provide proof of their poor health.

Says the source, "Teresa asked her lawyer to try and get her a weekend furlough that would allow her to leave the prison to visit her parents, Antonia and Giacinto. Giacinto is in poor health, and Teresa just wants to spend time with them."

"However, Teresa was told there would need to be documentation from her father's doctor outlining his current health condition. Nothing has changed since she went to prison," the source says, "and she was advised to not pursue the furlough."

But was it all one big ruse all along? According to the insider, Teresa told other inmates she wanted to "just go shopping with her mom at the local mall."

Meanwhile, prison officials aren't thrilled Teresa had her teen daughter, Gia, post a message on social media to her fans. The former reality star's outside communications are supposed to be extremely restricted.
