RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that Gwyneth Paltrow is so smug about her conscious uncoupling skills that she's reached out to her ex-fiancé, Brad Pitt, to counsel him through his divorce from Angelina Jolie.

"She's egotistical enough to think he'll want her advice about consciously uncoupling from Angelina," blasted an insider.

Paltrow, 44, and 52-year-old Pitt dated for three years after they met on the set of their 1995 thriller Seven. However, while the two still respect one another the actress' former flame what's nothing to do with her "goodwill gesture."

"That's the last thing Brad's thinking about right now, of course," laughed the insider. "But Gwyneth is convinced she can help and has even offered to act as an unofficial mediator for him and Angie."

As RadarOnline.com reported, Jolie, 41, shocked Pitt, Hollywood and the rest of the world when she called it quits and filed for divorce from the actor in September.

The two are now entrenched in a bitter battle over the custody of their children.
