Nick Gordon will never pay for the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, according to someone who claims to be related to the struggling 26-year-old, who was found legally responsible for her death in September.

Speaking exclusively to RadarOnline.com, Logan Harris, who claims to be Gordon’s cousin, said that Nick is in dire financial straits since he’s been ordered to pay more than $36 million to Brown’s estate.

According to Harris, Gordon “wants to get financially stable but he can't get a job because it will go to the lawsuit. He is looking at filing for bankruptcy.”

A judge ordered Gordon to pay $36 million, as RadarOnline.com previously reported, partly because Gordon was a no-show in court. But Harris insisted that Gordon skipped the hearing simply because he couldn’t afford legal fees.

“Nick’s really depressed right now," Harris said. "He wants to get a job to be financially stable but anything he makes will all go to the lawsuit.”

Gordon had been spotted out recently drinking at a local bar in Sanford, Fla., where he lives with his mother, Michelle Gordon, but Harris claimed that he's since gotten back on track.

“Before he would go out to eat and have a few drinks, now he doesn't go out at all,” Harris said, claiming Gordon “can't do or say anything at all, its like he's in prison with the lawsuit.”

As RadarOnline.com reported, a Fulton County Judge issued the final ruling on November 17, after listening to emotional testimony from Bobbi Kristina's father, Bobby Brown, his oldest daughter LaPrincia, and other friends and family of Whitney Houston’s dead daughter.

Her estate sued him for wrongful death in August 2015, one month after her death, claiming he gave her a "toxic injection" that led to her passing at the age of 22.
