Legendary Actor Alan Rickman Dies At 69 After Battle With Cancer

A heavyweight in theater, film and many other mediums, Alan Rickman has died at the age of 69.
The famed actor, known as Bruce Willis' formidable adversary in classic film Die Hard and more recently as Professor Snape in the Harry Potter franchise, passed away in London on Thursday after battling cancer, his family confirmed.
A British performer with unmistakable diction and vibrato, Rickman's career spanned many decades, garnering fans from all over the world.
With close friends like Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet, the actor and director was featured in many other fan favorite films, including Love, Actually and Sense and Sensibility, though there are countless pieces to choose from throughout his career.
Rickman is survived by his wife, Rima Horton, whom he married in 2012 after nearly 40 years together.
Many stars have expressed their condolences since the news, sharing utmost sadness over the loss of a true legend.
