Catelynn Lowell's suicide bombshell has terrified her husband and Teen Mom OG star Tyler Baltierra.
She checked herself into a treatment facility after having suicidal thoughts, and on Saturday, Baltierra took to Twitter to tell fans he was deeply involved in her getting help, writing, "We just dropped her off. We haven't held each other & just cried like that for a long time. Even after 12 years, I continue to be AMAZED by her strength, vulnerability, & courage to get help. 'As long as I am alive, you will never be alone.' "
As RadarOnline.com has previously reported, Lowell stunned Teen Mom followers by writing on Twitter on Friday, November 17, "Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I'm going to treatment."
Hours later, Baltierra shared how emotional it was putting his wife into a facility. In the tweet, he also included a photo of himself along with his vows from their August 2015 wedding. They reminded Lowell, "You are my angel, my soul mate."
But now, the couple face the hardest time of their marriage as Lowell confessed to having been suicidally depressed.
Lowell, 25, told US Weekly exclusively about treatment in a statement,
"I'm taking the time I need right now to take good care of myself…On November 17th I thought of every way possible to commit suicide… from wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole.
"THANK GOD I have a support system and a HUSBAND and a DAUGHTER… thank god I am self aware… I'm seeking treatment and I WILL get better…."
The two are parents of a two-year-old daughter, Novalee Reign Baltierra.
Baltierra previously told fans that Lowell "thought she had no choices left" other than to end her life.
He also wrote on Twitter, "Incredibly proud of my wife…when she thought she had no choices left, she reached out & decided to LIVE today! My life would be desolate without her in it. You are beautiful, strong, worthy, & loved."
Their relationship has been chronicled for TV reality show cameras since 2009, including their wrenching decision to give up their first baby for adoption.
