Trainwreck Tori & Dean Get Sober To Save Their Troubled Marriage
RadarOnline.com learned exclusively trainwreck Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott are going sober for the sake of their five kids — and to bring back any hope of saving their troubled marriage!
Tori, 45, and Dean, 51, have built up a mountain of stress throughout their tempestuous 12-year marriage — and now that mountain is erupting into a volcano!
The combative duo have been battling bankruptcy — and each other — almost since they said “I do” in 2006.
“They know their lives and the lives of their kids are hanging in the balance,” said a source close to the pair. “They have to pull it together before it’s too late!”
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Tori and Dean’s financial woes exploded in 2016 when American Express dragged them into court twice — for outstanding bills of $87,595 and $37,981!
Now they’re on the brink of financial disaster, with the IRS closing in for two massive federal tax liens to the tune of $707,487 and $184,390!
“Tori is losing it, mentally and physically. She’s been depressed, anxious and behaving erratically,” a friend spilled, alluding to reports that Tori called police in March after mistaking Dean for a robber.
“She is crying to anyone who will listen that she feels backed up on a ledge.”
Shortly after that wild police call, Tori agreed to cut back on the pain meds she takes for migraines and begin treatment at a clinic in Woodland Hills, sources said.
“Tori has been dependent on the meds,” tattled the source.
“They were affecting her behavior. She and Dean decided it would be best for her to wean herself off the pills, so she could be 100 percent present for her husband and her children.”
Dean also struggled with dependency, claiming his heavy reliance on drugs and alcohol was the driving force behind his two-day fling with Emily Goodhand on the set of a film in Canada.
“Dean’s drinking led to him cheating on Tori in December 2013,” said the source. “And this only added to Tori’s stress.”
Now, insiders said, they’ve both committed to cleaning up for the sake of the marriage and their kids.
“Once Tori began to get her meds under control, Dean decided to get sober, too,” said the source. “They know it’s their last chance.”
