The Queen Invites Doria Ragland To Britain To Spend Christmas With Royal Family
Queen Elizabeth II has reportedly invited Doria Ragland over to Great Britain for Christmas.
Meghan Markle’s mom will enjoy the stunning surrounds of Sandringham Estate over the festive period.
Sources say the Monarch has made the ‘very thoughtful gesture’ towards Ragland because she respects her so much.
The source added: “It’s a mark of the Queen’s respect for Meghan and an acknowledgment that she doesn’t have any other relations in this country — unlike Kate who has the support of a very close family.”
After Meghan married Prince Harry there was a backlash from her family although Doria did attend the wedding without any fuss.
Sources said that after Doria, 62, flew from LA to London to join Meghan, 37, and Prince Harry, 34, to launch her charity cookbook ‘Together’ in September.
When the 92-year-old Monarch heard about it she told Doria she could come to Sandringham.
And she also told the couple she wanted to spend the holidays with them too.

The source added: “Queen Elizabeth is very aware of all the problems Meghan has had with her dad and sister and she feels sorry for her that she doesn’t have family and a support network close by.”
However, not everyone was pleased with the decision.
Kate Middleton’s mother Carol Middleton reportedly felt snubbed.
A source added: “She has never been asked to join the royal household for Christmas, and she would love to be regarded as part of the royal family.”
