Teresa Giudice “will do whatever it takes for her daughters,” after a judge ordered The Real Housewives of New Jersey star's husband Joe to be deported, her close friend Siggy Flicker told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.
Flicker, who used to appear on the hit Bravo reality show, said that Teresa was in constant contact with her imprisoned husband.
“Every time I was with Teresa she was on the phone with him. She would put me on the phone with him,” Flicker told RadarOnline.com.
Flicker, 51, said after the devastating ruling came down on Joe, 46, that Teresa, also 46, would be a rock for her four girls by him.
“I’ve never met a person who was stronger than Teresa. She will stay on the course of taking care of her four daughters,” Flicker said.
“Her number one priority is those girls. She will do whatever it will take. She will put them through college. Whatever they need she will make sure they have. She is on a mission.”
RadarOnline.com exclusively reported that on Wednesday an immigration judge ruled that Joe was ordered to be deported from the United States to his native Italy after completing his prison sentence for fraud.
Flicker said that the decision was a heartbreaking turn for the reality show family.
“Joe Giudice is one of the best fathers,” she told RadarOnline.com. “He was hands-on and always with his children. Always. Just a great dad.”
“I’m hoping and praying that the judge, on the appeal, does not take away this father from his daughters,” Flicker told RadarOnline.com.
“It is a hard thing to fathom that he won’t be around to see his daughters grow up. He served his time. This is a crueler punishment. It is too much.”
Flicker, who quit RHONJ after two seasons, claimed to RadarOnline.com that the Bravo production hurt Teresa, her husband, and their kids.
“I feel that a lot of the suffering of the Giudice family happened because of the show," Flicker sighed.
"I saw what it did to me and my family in the two years I was on the show. I’m not putting the full blame on the show but there the idea if you weren’t on a national show and there wasn’t the pressure this wouldn’t have happened. This is my opinion. I saw what it did to my family. My kids and my husband were not happy at the end of the day. It affects your life.”
Flicker told RadarOnline.com that she was supporting Teresa in every way and believed her marriage would remain strong.
“She’s had so much tragedy. I will always be there for Teresa Giudice, who was very kind, generous and a good friend to me. She loves Joe. Teresa will always love Joe Giudice and Joe Giudice will always love Teresa Giudice. It is Joe and Teresa forever.”
As RadarOnline.com reported, Joe has until November 9 to file an appeal.
“I hope the judge has a change of heart and does not take him away from his family and his children,” Flicker told RadarOnline.com.
“His brother, his sister, his mother they’re a very close-knit family. I hope the appeal works for the sake of the entire Giudice family.”
