With a conservative Indiana crowd in front of him and American flags behind him, Ted Cruz had no problem admitting he favors corporal punishment for kids.

Cruz was detailing his tax plan when heard a young boy yelling from the audience.

"Apparently there's a young man who's having some problems," Cruz said. The boy then spoke louder, audibly yelling "You suck" to the presidential candidate.

"Thank you son. You know, I appreciate you sharing your views," Cruz said. "You know, hopefully one of the things somebody has told you is that children should actually speak with respect."

As the crowd applauded Cruz took the opportunity to slam his GOP rival.

"Imagine what a different world it would be if someone told Donald Trump that years ago," he joked.

Then Cruz took it one step further: "In my household, when a child behaves that way, they get a spanking," he said.

The boy was then escorted out by local law enforcement.
