Taylor Swift and Gigi Hadid have taken Selena Gomez under their wing over fears she’ll go off the rails after Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s engagement.

“They care too much about her to let her slip again,” a source told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “They’re taking turns calling her to make sure she’s okay, several times a day, and they’re inviting her over for girls’ nights in.”

As RadarOnline.com has reported, Gomez, 25, hasn’t handled news of her ex’s engagement well, as she was seen seen downing shots of liquor at a NYC bar just hours after Bieber confirmed he popped the question.

Of course, due to her complex kidney transplant and past addiction problems, the singer should not be drinking any alcohol—much less straight shots!

“Taylor and Gigi are making Selena feel important and doing their best to distract her from what Justin and Hailey are doing,” the source added.

Part of that is to find her a new man asap. Swift, who knows a thing or two about broken hearts, never liked Bieber to begin with. She’s made it her personal mission now to find Gomez a new guy… one who is the opposite of Bieber.

Gomez was said to be “blindsided” by her ex’s engagement. After all, it came just one month after The Biebs first started officially dating the 21-year-old model.

“It’s so hurtful for Selena, who’s really been struggling since she heard the news,” the source confessed.
