A 'Steve Harvey Morning Show' staffer was found dead in his hotel room near a bottle of prescription pills Sunday night, and RadarOnline.com has exclusive details surrounding the shocking news.

Bryan Cooke, 39, was discovered by W Hotel employees face down on his bed on May 27 in Atlanta Georgia. A police report obtained by RadarOnline.com stated that Cooke was in town with his best friend and comedian, Kier Spates, who also works for Harvey's radio program.

According to the report, Spates grew concerned over Cooke's wellbeing on Sunday, when his attempts to reach his coworker went unanswered. Spates and Cooke had a flight to catch from Atlanta to Los Angeles that day, the police report explained.

Spates contacted a front desk worker to check on his friend. The female worker entered Cooke's room and found him lying on the bed "face down" and "cold to the touch," according to the report. The hotel employee then turned Spates over and "noticed that vomit and blood were coming out of his mouth and nose," the report explained.

Police reported to the scene and also found Spates "motionless." His approximate time of death is listed as 1:15 p.m. The report stated that a "bottle of prescription pills" was located in the room by police. However, investigators have not indicated that Cooke has overdosed.

An official of the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office exclusively confirmed to RadarOnline.com that its office is awaiting results on an autopsy performed on Cooke.

Spates opened up to police about how Cooke spent his final hours. The funny man told police he and Cooke had gone out the night before, smoked cigars and returned to their hotel rooms at around 3 a.m.

"Mr. Spates stated that his friend was fine when they returned to the hotel," the report stated.

Police performed a lock interrogation of the room and found that Cooke and a housekeeper were the only two people to attempt to enter the room during Cooke's final hours. The housekeeper, however, thought Cooke was asleep Sunday morning so the room had not been cleaned.

The report concludes there were "no signs of any forced entry" into the hotel room. Spates opened up about his best friend's death on his Instagram the following day.

"Today was the hardest day I have ever gone through!" Spates wrote. "Got is still in control. I lost my best friend today. He was actually my brother. We were friends since I was 16. I have no words."

As of Wednesday, Steve Harvey has not commented on his employee's sudden passing.
