Steve Harvey Breaks Down In Tears After Death Threats Over Miss Universe Mistake
It has been nearly a month since Steve Harvey's viral Miss Universe flub, but for the 58-year-old comedian, the fallout is still very real.
In a Q & A session on his daytime talk show, an audience member asked about how he is coping with the Dec. 20th incident in which he mistakenly announced that Miss Colombia had won the pageant instead of the actual winner, Miss Philippines.
"I couldn't even sleep," Harvey admitted. "Death threats against my family... I can't let my kids go nowhere."

He broke down in tears as he talked about how supportive his wife had been through the ordeal. "She got up with me during the night. She was the best... You gotta have someone with you. Somebody to climb down in that hole with you."
But as hard as the incident has been on Harvey, he says that his primary concern is how both women are coping with the mistake --- especially Miss Colombia. "My heart bled for her, and I haven't been able to talk to her since."
