Selena Gomez's Dad Was Once Busted Over Drunk Driving & Packing A Pistol!

Selena Gomez is hiding a shameful secret — her pistol-packing pop was busted for driving drunk!
According to records obtained by RadarOnline.com, Ricardo Gomez Jr. was charged with DWI after police in Texas administered a Breathalyzer test on Feb. 6, 2002.
Gomez, then 26, was also booked for unlawfully carrying a weapon after cops found a "black ruger 9mm handgun and black handgun magazine," according to the docs.
The weapons charge was dropped after Gomez pleaded guilty to DWI. He was slapped with a $700 fine and ordered to pay $217 in court fees.
"Selena is close to her dad and didn't want to bring up the past, but of course she's disappointed he has a record," a source said.
"But he has stayed out of trouble since and doesn't want to embarrass Selena," added the source. "They still see each other often."
Selena's mom, Mandy, 42, and Ricardo, now 43, were childhood sweethearts in Texas — and Selena was born when her mom was just 16.
Speaking about their divorce, Selena has said, "I blamed my mom a lot because I wanted a family so bad. I still feel really bad about that."
