All About Justin! Selena Ditches Mom Amid Miscarriage Heartbreak

It's been a rough week for Selena Gomez's mom — and it seems her pop star daughter is partially to blame.
Mandy Teefey, 41, was reportedly hospitalized after learning that Gomez and Justin Bieber are attending couples' therapy to work out their issues.
Unfortunately for Teefey, the news came at the same time she was mourning the tragic death of her second daughter, Scarlett, whom she miscarried in 2011.
Late Monday night, Teefey penned a heartfelt Instagram tribute to Scarlett, and she thanked fans and her 13 Reasons Why coworkers for helping honor what was an otherwise emotional day.
"Dec 17th will never be the same, but we decide to celebrate her by writing her letters on red balloons and releasing them," Teefey wrote on Instagram. "Now the 17th is intertwined with the wrap of Season 2. So, she was there in spirit as always."
Scarlett would have been Teefey's first child with Selena's stepdad, Brian Teefey. In 2013, Teefey gave birth to Gracie, now 4.
In the Instagram post, Teefey also noted that "a mom's love for their children is pretty fierce." However, when it came to thanking people close to her for their support, she threw major shade at Gomez!
"Family is what matters, blood or not, #family13 made me smile and feel loved when so needed and they didn't know," she noted. "Then, I came home to Brian and Gracie to send our love to Scarlett. Fans I want you to know you are family because I have a huge family and you are the only ones who remember! XO forever."
So where was Gomez on Dec. 17? According to reports, the singer had jetted off to Seattle over the weekend for a mini-vacation with Bieber, enjoying a romantic date night filled with sweets at the Sugar Factory.
Teefey "flipped" when she realized how serious Gomez and Bieber have become again.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Gomez's family has not approved of Bieber ever since he broke the singer's heart and destroyed their trust in him.
A source close to the family noted Teefey even blames Bieber for Gomez's stints in rehab and her debilitating depression.
Selena has yet to speak out about her mom's hospitalization and Scarlett's death.
