Selena Gomez Caught Drinking Hard Liquor At NYC Bar Amid Justin Bieber Engagement

Selena Gomez was spotted downing hard liquor drinks at an NYC bar just two days before her ex Justin Bieber got engaged to his rebound girlfriend Hailey Baldwin, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.

After Hollywood Life reported the actress was caught taking at least one shot at The Cut at the Four Seasons hotel in downtown New York on July 9, an eyewitness told RadarOnline.com she was spotted sipping boozy beverages at the hot spot four days earlier.

On Thursday, July 5, “Selena sat down at a table in the middle of the lounge, and ordered a few drinks with a friend,” the onlooker told RadarOnline.com.

Though she didn’t appear to be hiding anything last week, on Monday evening Gomez appeared to be “in disguise” with a black hat and loose shirt, the source said.

This would all be normal behavior for a 25-year-old woman recovering from heartbreak — but the star underwent a kidney transplant just last year, and has been to rehab at least twice!

New York City-based rheumatologist, Dr. Robert Fafalak – who has not treated Gomez – told RadarOnline.com that if the Lupus-sufferer continues to drown her sorrows with alcohol, she could die.

“The fact that she’s taking what sounds like a very high amount of alcohol can definitely become threatening to not only making her lupus worse but therefore potentially threatening her life,” Fafalak said.

Though she has no desire to get back together with him, Gomez was “blindsided” by her ex’s engagement after just one month of dating model Baldwin, sources told RadarOnline.com earlier this week.

“At first, Selena didn’t believe the news,” the insider said.
