In a 2015 interview with Rolling Stone, Gomez, 25, revealed that the couple was done for good/ "Honestly, what I would love to be printed is that I am so beyond done with talking about that, and him." After breaking up amid allegations that Bieber cheated, the exes — who spent more than five years in tangled in a twisted love web — had both moved on with their lives.
As fans know, Gomez has been dating superstar singer The Weeknd for six months down! So why did Bieber really go to her home?
According to a close family friend of Gomez, “Justin wanted to see her because, like everyone else, he’s been really worried about he since her kidney transplant. He just wanted to make sure she was okay.”
The insider revealed to RadarOnline.com that Bieber cleared it with her man first! “Justin made sure it was okay with her boyfriend because he did not want to be shady about it.”
“Selena made sure that she was not alone and had a couple of friends there to support her. Regardless, their reunion was obviously tense,” the source added.
“She gets so weak when it comes to Justin and her family tried their best to stop her from meeting with him because no one wants her to fall for his bull***t again,” the friend revealed. “They will always love each other, regardless of who they are with.”
