Sandra Bullock has had a rough time of late, with the death of her father and prized pooches, but RadarOnline.com has learned she’s relying on her friend Jennifer Aniston to help her through.
“It’s been a hell of a hard time for Sandy after her dad John and her two dogs died,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “She’s always been self-sufficient, the strong one of the family, but this has knocked her down.”
As RadarOnline.com reported, John W. Bullock passed away on Tuesday, September 18, at 10:04 p.m. after months of illness. Sandra was right there next to him, acting as full-time nurse and caretaker in the 93-year-old’s final days.
“She’s heartbroken and grieving,” the source revealed.
Enter Aniston. The former Friends star became besties with Sandra, 54, after meeting through mutual pal Gwyneth Paltrow a few ago. The two have often been spotted at dinner together, or vacationing with each other’s families. The Speed star even took boyfriend Bryan Randall as her date to Aniston’s wedding to actor Justin Theroux in August 2015.
Aniston, 49, knows a thing or two about how to be there for you, having previously leaned on her own famous friends, like Adam Sandler and Brad Pitt, during her emotional divorce from Theroux. Now it’s her turn to pay it forward.
“Sandy and Jen have sat up into the night talking, sipping wine, commiserating,” the insider confessed. “They’ve really bonded and now consider themselves best friends.”
Aniston’s love is a lifesaver for Sandra, who is dealing with the hardest of times for any child. The insider says it’s a welcome relationship.
“Sandy never really had a woman friend before besides her sister and she appreciates having one now.”
