Sandra Bullock Rushed To Father’s Side In Days Before Death: Star Was His ‘Full-Time Nurse’

Sandra Bullock has lost her beloved father, who passed away on Tuesday, September 18 at 93 after years of poor health, RadarOnline.com can confirm. Though the actress is a busy mom of two, she quietly was a “full-time nurse” to her dad in his final months at his home in Birmingham, Alabama, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report. “Sandy absolutely worships her daddy and wants to be there for him in his twilight years,” a source told RadarOnline.com this summer. “She’s put a lot of projects to one side so she they can spend precious time together, and if that means losing out on some movie roles then I’m sure her attitude is, ‘So be it.’” Military veteran John’s longtime friend Jimmy Koikois told RadarOnline.com very private superstar Sandra didn’t “want anyone to know” she was in town acting as her father’s caretaker. John, who passed away at 93 years old, was bedridden in his final months at home in Alabama.
“He’s lived a good life, his wife Helga died at 62, but he has great family and friends around him.”
For doting mom and daughter Sandra, 54, “what’s more important than anything right now is family, and her dad comes before anything else.”
“I’m told she’s planning to make this her full-time focus, which will mean her ducking out of sight for a while to effectively become his full-time nurse,” a source told RadarOnline.com this summer.
“He has around-the-clock care now,” pal Jimmy, 79, told RadarOnline.com earlier this year. “I visited him three weeks ago at his house, he was a little low on oxygen and has a machine, but he’s doing okay.”

“John never name drops that he’s Sandra Bullock’s dad, he’s not like that, he’s a great guy,” Jimmy insisted.
Bullock’s boyfriend Ryan Randall announced the sad news of John’s death on his private Instagram page. ““Surrounded by family and friends, John W. Bullock left the building,” he wrote.
The National ENQUIRER first reported John’s health was failing in 2015. “He’s not a well man,” John’s brother Jess said.
Sandra’s mom and John’s wife Helga died in 2000 after a battle with cancer.
Sandra has not yet spoken out about her beloved father’s death.
