Headed For A Split! Rosie & Hot Cop Fiancee's Engagement On Shaky Ground
Rosie O’Donnell’s whirlwind engagement to her hot cop fiancée, Elizabeth Rooney, is on the rocks, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
The 56-year-old mother of five has been fighting with her Rooney, 33, in recent weeks, a source told RadarOnline.com, adding that one of the couple's big fights was about social media.
“The main thing was Rosie felt Elizabeth flaunted their relationship on social media, and Rosie just isn’t like that. She is much more low-key,” the source said.
According to the source, O’Donnell was furious Rooney posted a photo of her massive engagement ring to Instagram.
Although the photo of the sparkler still exists on Rooney’s profile, the blonde bombshell removed a diamond ring emoji next to the letter “R” she originally included in her Instagram bio two months ago.
To make matters worse, another source close to the couple said Rooney’s ex of over a decade is getting in the way of their relationship.
“The only thing Rosie and Elizabeth ever fight about is Elizabeth’s ex,” the insider shared. “Rosie caught Elizabeth communicating with her ex and Rosie packed up all of her stuff and almost ended it.”
The source also revealed that the pair did not celebrate Thanksgiving together.
RadarOnline.com was the first to report that after a year of dating, the NYC-based comedian and Worcester-native cop and army vet were taking their romance to the next level.
