Bye, Joe!
Teresa Giudice is ready to end her marriage to her imprisoned husband as his deportation looms — and she took the drastic measure of consulting an attorney, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
“Teresa visited a divorce lawyer last week when she got back from Los Angeles,” a source close to The Real Housewives of New Jersey star snitched to RadarOnline.com.
“She is serious about divorcing Joe, and she wants to make sure she is taken care of when it happens.”
The Bravolebrity hasn't been shy about her imminent divorce. She didn’t even bother to wear her wedding ring at her daughter Gia’s 18th birthday party on January 8.
As RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed, a U.S. Immigration judge order Joe to be deported from the United States.
Judge John P. Ellington decided to boot the RHONJ felon, 46, because of his egregious crimes, U.S. Department of Justice documents obtained by RadarOnline.com revealed.
In 13 pages, Ellington explained that Giudice’s crimes — which included conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bankruptcy fraud, and failure to file tax returns — could be defined as “aggravated felonies,” or offenses that involve fraud or deceit in which the loss to the victim exceeds $10,000.
His lawyer filed an appeal in the case, which is still pending.
A ruling in his case is expected before Joe is released from prison in March, but the mother of his four children isn't holding her breath.
“Teresa talked to the lawyer about divorce. She wants to know all of her options for when she pulls the plug,” the source confirmed to RadarOnline.com.
