Kenya Moore's pregnancy has taken a turn for the worse as she's revealed her scary preeclampsia complication.
On Saturday, the former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 47, posted a photo of her swollen feet on Instagram.
Moore wrote in a caption, "made fun of my swollen feet at @cynthiabailey10 party. Next day my tests came back for possible preeclampsia... I gained 17 lbs in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine. This is NOT normal! I took more tests. Baby is fine but if they come back higher #babydaly will have to come same day."
The reality TV star added via Instagram that she was, "Staying positive. To my pregnant sisters please go to your visits and tell the doctor of any drastic changes. Thank God I have great doctors.?? #babydaly #highrisk #love #family #miraclebaby #kenyamoore #babybump #pregnantover40."
According to medical experts, preeclampsia is a complication characterized by high blood pressure and signs of damage to another organ system, most often the liver and kidneys. The Mayo Clinic has noted that women over the age of 40 have a higher chance of developing preeclampsia.
The condition also hit Kim Kardashian when she had her second child, son Saint West, with husband Kanye.
Moore is expecting her first child with husband Marc Daly.
The twirl star has told Bravo host Andy Cohen about her late in life pregnancy, "I am still just very nervous about everything so I just want to get past a safe place."
Moore and Daly have reportedly chosen a baby name but haven't revealed it. Although they don't know the sex of their child, they have settled on a unisex moniker. The former beauty queen was fired from RHOA when she secretly married Daly and then refused to put him on camera and reveal all the details of their lives, as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported.
In September, Moore moaned about weighing 200 pounds in pregnancy. She wrote on social media, "legs booty and boobs way bigger."
