'Property Brothers' Star Jonathan Scott Splits From Galpal

Jonathan Scott and his longtime galpal Jacinta Kuznetsov have broken up—just as his twin and fellow Property Brothers star Drew Scott plans his wedding to fiancé Linda Phan.

In an Instagram post featuring a photo of Jonathan, 39, petting baby elephants with Kuznetsov, 29, he told followers about the end of the romance.

Jonathan wrote in a caption, "When I met Jacinta in the fall of 2015, I met somebody kind and courageous and a champion for human/animal rights. We grew to respect each other fiercely and know that will remain unchanged for the rest of our lives. Sometimes life takes you on unexpected paths and those paths aren't always in the same direction. There's no drama or negativity; no jealousy or hate. Not even sadness or sorrow. Our memories are filled with joy and we will continue to advocate for each other as friends wherever we go."

While Jonathan, who divorced his first wife and wrote about getting into a bar fight in his memoir, is facing heartbreak again, Drew is busy planning his spring wedding to his fiancée Phan. Drew has never been married before.

Drew, 39, gushed to reporters about Phan, 31, when competing on Dancing with the Stars last year, "The moment you meet her, she shines. She absolutely shines and it's her smile; it's her personality. She's got the same warped sense of humor as me and she's absolutely stunning. She's one of a kind."

The Property Brother denied that Jonathan was jealous about him getting married. "He couldn't be happier for Linda and me," Drew said.

Drew has said, "With our brother versus brother, we never push each other in competition to push each other down. We push each other to do better. We've done that our whole lives."

Jonathan first met Kuznetsov at a charity gala in 2015. They shared a house together in Toronto, and also lived at the Scott's compound in Las Vegas. The two house hunted in New York last year, but now the relationship is over.
