Australians Slam Harry & Meghan For Insensitive Timing Of Pregnancy News
The date Prince Harry and Meghan Markle chose to announce their baby joy has upset some Australians.
As RadarOnline.com reported, the Duke of Duchess of Sussex revealed they are expecting their first child together in spring 2019. They shared their big news on Oct. 15, shortly after the two arrived in Australia to begin a tour of the Pacific.
Sadly, Oct. 15 marks International Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day, a time when families Down Under who have suffered miscarriages, stillbirths and newborn deaths honor the kids they lost.
"There are so many Australian families that are affected by the death of a baby," says Sands Australia Chair, Lyndy Bowden. "International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day gives them an 'official' opportunity to acknowledge their precious babies. It is also a chance to raise awareness of the emotional impact of pregnancy and infant loss."
Australians took to Twitter to express their disappointment that Markle, 37, and Prince Harry, 34, were so insensitive.
