Prince’s loved ones have blamed his doctor for his death in a shocking new lawsuit, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Prince’s family filed a lawsuit accusing Dr. Michael Schulenberg of improperly diagnosing him the “Purple Rain” singer, according to reports.

In the filing, his family claimed that Schulenberg last treated the star on April 20, one day prior to his death on April 21, 2016.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, the “Purple Rain” singer’s body was found in the elevator of his Minnesota home. A toxicology report shows Prince had “exceedingly high’ levels of fentanyl in his system.

Disturbing photos taken by authorities revealed the legend had a secret stash of pills and cash at his residence.

The family believes Prince’s fentanyl overdose was due to Schulenberg not appropriately treating his addiction to pain pills, reports claimed.

Authorities conducted an investigation of Prince’s home and discovered “controlled substances” were scattered in various places such as inside prescription pill bottles and vitamin bottles.

Earlier this year, the legend’s final moments alive were revealed in a shocking video. The “Little Red Corvette” singer’s body was shown slumped outside of his Paisley Park home in Minnesota.
