Pete Davidson Slammed For Making Insensitive Joke About Candidate Missing Eye
Pete Davidson is under fire! Days after the comedian made headlines with his insensitive joke about Ariana Grande, he was blasted for making another rude remark about a disabled candidate during a segment of Saturday Night Live.
On the sketch show, Davidson, 24, gave his thoughts on a few of the candidates running for office in the midterm elections. When it came to Republican congressional candidate Dan Crenshaw — who wears an eyepatch because he lost his eye in Afghanistan — Davidson joked that he looked like a "hitman from a porno."
"I'm sorry, I know he lost his eye in war or whatever," he then said between laughs "Whatever."
Despite his attempt at an apology, Davidson received much backlash over his harsh joke. Even his costar, Kenan Thompson — whose dad is a veteran — said that he "definitely missed the mark."
RadarOnline.com readers know this is not the first time Davidson has been slammed for his controversial comments. Last week, Grande, 25, even threw shade at him for making a joke of their quickie engagement for an SNL promo. And months before that — when they were still together — she publicly defended him after he made an insensitive joke about mass shootings.

Thankfully for Davidson, Crenshaw took the joke much more lightly than everyone else and even said that the comedian should not feel the need to apologize.
