Paula's Hell: Premature Triplet Grandbabies Born Months Early In Medical Disaster
Celebrity Chef Paula Deen was over the moon after learning she was going to be a Grandma for the third, fourth and fifth time, when son Bobby Deen and his wife Claudia were due to give birth to triplets this year, but RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusively her baby joy turned to heartbreak when Claudia delivered the babies on October 16th, three and a half months early!
Bobby Dean, who has his own Cooking Chanel Show, Not My Mama’s Meals, married Claudia Lovera in July, 2017. And this spring they found out they were pregnant with triplets.
“Paula was thrilled because she already has two grandsons by her son Jaime, and a step grandson from stepdaughter Michelle. And she couldn’t wait to add three more grandkids to the mix,” says a friend.
“But on October 16th she received a panicked call from Bobby to say his wife had been taken to a Savannah, Georgia Hospital after going into labor and she rushed to be by their side.”
The source says the controversial food star knew the chances of the children surviving so early was dicey, and she prayed that Claudia and the little ones would be alright. To her relief, the babies survived birth and although they are still not out of the woods, they seem to be doing quite well.”
Little Amelia Ann – who carries Grandma Paula’s middle name – weighed in at 2 lbs. Olivia Marie weighted in a just 1 lb. 12 oz. as did her brother Linton.
“The babies are being cared for by a team of specialists and are still in an incubator,” the source told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “And doctors say they will probably have to remain in the hospital until January – their original birthdate."
“We’ve got complete faith that God has his arms wrapped around the babies and I can’t wait until they come home,” Paula posted on her Facebook page on October 27.

The 71-year-old TV chef was ousted from her popular Food Network Shows in 2013, after a former employee accused her of using racial epithets and tolerating racist jokes, decades ago.
And although she apologized, she still found herself out of work. Since that time she’s concentrated on branching out with new restaurants and opening stores that carry her brand, and she’s been spending a lot of time with her sons and their families.
“Paula is looking forward to spoiling the triplets once they are home,” says the source. “In the meantime she’s spending a lot of time down on her knees praying for her tiny miracles.”
