Family Feud: Patrick Swayze’s Niece SLAMS Late Star’s Widow Lisa In Scathing Letter
Patrick Swayze’s fed-up niece is resorting to social media to stop his money-hungry widow from selling off the tragic star’s most personal prized possessions, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
Titled “Return Patrick Swayze’s Memorabilia to His Direct Family! Stop the Auction,” the late Dirty Dancing actor’s niece Danielle Swayze blasted her uncle’s 60-year-old wife, Lisa Niemi, in a scathing letter on Change.org.
“Lisa Niemi has gathered EVERYTHING that ever meant anything to (Patrick) Buddy, and is auctioning them off to the highest bidder rather than giving it back to the rightful owner, the only people who would truly cherish these items, HIS FAMILY!” Danielle wrote.
“Please help me stop Lisa before she gets rid of memorabilia that has no right or reason to be sold, YOU CANNOT PUT A PRICE ON MEMORIES! My father, Don, and Uncle Sean deserve to have these sentimental items, please help Lisa find the heart she once had!”
Danielle saved her biggest diss for her personal Facebook page.
“There is NO family on earth that deserves this cruel and unusual punishment from a bitch they opened their hearts and homes to!” she huffed. “If it wasn’t for my family, Lisa would have NOTHING!”
RadarOnline.com previously reported that Swayze — who died at age 57 in 2009 — had promised several of the items up for auction to his family members.
“Everybody is angry at Lisa!” a source told RadarOnline.com. “They’re saying she’s just evil and money hungry.”
The cherished possessions Swayze left behind include a Harley Davidson motorcycle he promised to his brother Don, and a cowboy shirt for his late mother Patsy. But sources said Niemi refused to hand the items over.
At Niemi’s direction, items from Swayze’s estate will go on the block at Julien’s Auctions in Los Angeles on April 28 and 29.
Patrick’s relatives have remained quiet about the auction, but Danielle blew her stack when learned that Lisa planned to unload the Ghost star’s childhood belongings, including a teddy bear and a birthday card.

“Patrick Swayze loved his family and would cringe at how his blood has been treated, and by his own wife! When Buddy (Patrick) died, his mother Patsy asked for a pair of cowboy boots to place on her fireplace mantle next to her deceased husband's, Buddy's Father, in which he request was refused by Lisa,” Danielle wrote.
“My family has endured enough pain and sorrow, just in losing a loved one. Their homes were even taken and sold from underneath them shortly after Patsy had passed, and forced to relocate and leave behind what they did not have time to get.”
The petition quickly racked up hundreds of likes from Swayze fans, who railed against Lisa.
“What this woman is doing is unforgivable,” wrote one supporter. “These are family memories, not goods for her to sell on to make money!! You should be ashamed of your actions!”
Lisa inherited Swayze’s entire $40 million estate after he signed a new will in his last days that cut out the remainder of his family.
