Nicole Kidman Says It’s Her ‘Job’ To Love Her Kids Despite Their Scientology Beliefs

Nicole Kidman is finally opening up about her very private relationship with her adopted kids. During a talk with Australia’s WHO magazine, the Hollywood actress admitted her children Isabella and Connor — who she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise — are devout Scientologists, but that doesn’t make her love them any less.
“They are adults. They are able to make their own decisions,” said Nicole, 51, speaking of her son and daughter’s Scientologist beliefs.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, the bombshell has not been spotted out in public with her adult children since 2006, and it’s long been rumored that their loyalty to the church is what ultimately broke their once tight-knit relationship.
“They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it's my job to love them. And I am an example of that tolerance and that's what I believe — that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I'm open here,” she continued.
While Nicole is also a mother to daughters Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith Margaret, 7, with husband Keith Urban, 51, she’s always spoken fondly of her adopted children, even admitting that she cherishes their relationship and works hard to keep it as low-key as possible.
“I have to protect all those relationships,” she told the magazine. “I know 150 per cent that I would give up my life for my children because it's what my purpose is.”
While Connor, 23, and Isabella, 25, are rarely in the spotlight, Isabella recently gave a shout-out to her famous mom by acknowledging her surname in her new fashion line!
