Nicole Eggert Ratchets Up Scott Baio Underage Sex Scandal, Files Police Report

After much talk of her alleged sexual abuse from former costar Scott Baio, Nicole Eggert has finally filed a police report against the actor.

According to a report, LAPD detectives interviewed the actress for about two hours. Her lawyer, Lisa Bloom, claimed that "Nicole answered all of their questions and told her story of sexual abuse by Scott Baio when she was a minor."

"We appreciate the Los Angeles police detectives' interest in this case, and we will fully cooperate with their investigation," Bloom added.

As readers know, the police report comes after Baio, 57, repeatedly denied the 1980 incidents, and urged Eggert, 46, to alert the police with her "false" allegations – so she could be proved wrong. His lawyers even "requested" that she go to the authorities instead of bashing him on social media.

Eggert spoke out about the alleged abuse various times, to various interviewers. While her story has changed over time, she's repeatedly claimed that Baio assaulted her when she was 14 and had sex with her when she was 17. The actor is 11 years her senior, and has vehemently denied having sexually abused his former costar.

"It took Nicole a long time to come to the decision that she wanted to let the world know what Scott Baio did to her and it's been very freeing for her to finally talk about what happened," Eggert's rep told the New York Post. "Nicole is very happy that the report is done and she looks forward to seeing how they handle the investigation."

Eggert will be on The Talk today giving updates on the case.
