TLC star Whitney Way Thore admitted she's quit something that used to be a major part of her life.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life star opened up to her half of a million Instagram followers about her rollercoaster ride of losing and gaining back weight. She said there was a time she restricted herself too much and it led to giving up on one major thing that helped her lose weight.
"Because of the weight loss and restriction-based mentality that gyms can foster, I quit going consistently for years," said the reality star.
With her gym days behind her, Thore opened up about how she views herself now. She referred to herself as a "fat athlete."
"Exercising is not a means to an end; it's not something I suffer through to lose weight," Thore added.

She's admitted in the past to being "embarrassed" by her own body – but today, Thore said she is approaching her health differently.
"I believe I CAN change the world, and I also believe I deserve to do everything that makes me feel good," she said in the Instagram post.
The plus size activist's inspirational post came weeks after Thore's co-star Buddy Bell revealed he checked into rehab for a cocaine addiction.
