Molly and Luis Mendez’s marriage has been crumbling week after week on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?. Unfortunately for the couple, the show won’t have a fairytale ending. RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusive details on their divorce after less than a year of marriage.
Molly filed for divorce from Luis on January 9, 2018, only months after their July 20, 2017 wedding.
Molly claimed the marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”
Because they did not acquire marital property during their marriage, she asked that all premarital property be awarded to her.
No alimony was awarded to either party.
Molly was awarded sole possession and ownership of her premarital real estate property and 2011 Infiniti.
Luis was ordered to return the cell phone and charging cables in his possession associated with Molly’s AT&T account.
The divorce was finalized on May 4, 2018.
Starcasm was the first to report on the divorce.
A source close to Luis exclusively told RadarOnline.com that he has not been deported back to the Dominican Republic and is still living in America. He is doing “well” following the divorce.
Molly and Luis have been fighting on episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?. A major source of contention for the couple has been Luis refusing to help with her two daughters.
When her daughter Olivia left their house, Molly kicked her husband out. But instead of leaving, Luis locked himself in the bedroom and threatened to call the police.
She said on the most recent episode, “I want him out of my house!”
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? airs Sundays at 8/7c on TLC.
