The Turnpike Troubadours singer's heartbreak was followed by health woe, a statement posted to the group's Instagram account revealed on Tuesday, August 28.
"Unfortunately due to a medical emergency Turnpike Troubadours will be unable to perform tonight at Fayetteville Roots Festival," it read.
"The band was present and prepared to play, but after evaluation it was advised that Evan Felker should not perform tonight due to pain associated with the inability to pass a kidney stone he has been struggling with since earlier in the week."
The statement added, "We sincerely apologize to the fans and festival staff for this unfortunate situation — Turnpike Troubadours."
Lambert, 34, told The Tennessean four days ago that she is "single and happy," after RadarOnline.com broke the news that fellow singer and beau Felker, also 34, had pulled out of her tour at the last minute.
Speculation ran rampant that Lambert's controversial love affair with Felker was over after he was a no-show during Lambert’s Toronto show on August 23.
Then, RadarOnline.com exclusively reported that the Turnpike Troubadours had dropped out of a total of three of Lambert’s shows at the last minute!
In addition to missing Thursday night’s concert, the Turnpike Troubadours also suddenly pulled out of the “Vice” singer’s performances scheduled on Aug. 24 in Michigan, and Aug. 25 in Illinois.
RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed that Lambert's beau Felker had left his wife of just one year, Staci Nelson, for the sexy country singer.
That was just one month before Felker's wife, Nelson, suddenly filed for divorce from Felker on February 28, 2018 in the District Court of Oklahoma County.
Felker and Nelson's divorce was finalized on August 17.
Lambert had commented last week, "Love is a hard road sometimes and it’s been a roller-coaster ride for me, but I’m definitely thankful for all the ups and downs because I’ve had some really good songs come out of it. You’ve got to take the bad parts and put them on paper and then move on to the happy parts."
