Miranda’s Ex Admits Canceled Shows Due To 'Family' Issues After Affair Ended Marriage

Did Evan Felker’s cheating scandal with Miranda Lambert cause him to pull out of her shows at the last minute?

That’s what fans are questioning after Felker’s band, Turnpike Troubadours, cited “family” issues as one of the reasons the band stopped touring with the country singer last week.

“We are working through some family and medical issues that have made it impossible for us to be on tour,” Felker and his band explained in a statement on their Instagram. “Fortunately, we have some time off over the next couple weeks, and are looking forward to taking this time to regroup and resolve everything. We are very sorry for any disappointment and appreciate your continued support.”

Felker had also suffered a kidney stone around the same time, the band stated.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Felker’s marriage to wife Staci Nelson ended after his affair with Lambert became public. The two were caught getting cozy in a restaurant in March while Felker was still married to Nelson.

Felker and Nelson’s divorce was finalized earlier this month.

Sources told RadarOnline.com that the scorned wife “feels free” after the very public ending.

One person who has stayed silent on the cheating scandal is Lambert herself. However, days before Felker stepped away from her tour, the country singer confirmed their breakup, telling The Nashville Tennessean she’s “happily single.”

Do you think Felker’s affair with Lambert contributed to him pulling out of tour? Sound off in the comments.
