Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth donated $500,000 at Gerard Butler's celebrity fundraiser for the California wildfires.
The couple – who lost their home in the devastating blaze – have dug deep and donated money for the Malibu Foundation.
And RadarOnline.com has learned exclusive details about how the A-list celebs have come together to support one another and to help others.
Malibu native Sean Penn addressed the stars inside Butler's West Hollywood home and spoke passionately about community spirit.
A source revealed: "Sean Penn talked about unity and coming together as opposed to the constant divisive hate which has taken over in America."
Scottish actor Butler, who also lost his Malibu home in last week's wildfires, got an amazing response to his fundraiser.
It is understood that over $2 million has already been raised for the foundation that will help victims of the fires.
Robin Thicke gave an emotional speech about losing his home before singing 'Stand By Me' for the assembled guests Roma Downey donated $100,000 and also talked about her experiences in coping with the devastating fires across the state that have left 74 dead with as many as 1,000 people still missing.
Rande Gerber and George Clooney donated money and the alcohol for the fundraiser in whichWill Forte acted as the Emcee.
Musician Van Morrison played at the event that was also attended by Courteney Cox, Jamie Foxx, Pierce Brosnan and Cindy Crawford.
