A former Miami Dolphins star has been arrested in connection with a chilling threat to prestigious Harvard Westlake school in Los Angeles.
Jonathan Martin was arrested after posting threats on his Instgram account.
Martin posted a threat of ‘suicide or revenge’ that resulted in the school being closed.
The 28-year-old former student at Harvard Westlake was taken into custody over the post after police were alerted about him.
He posted a photo of a shotgun and cartridges on a bed Thursday, writing: “When you're a bully victim & a coward, your options are suicide, or revenge.”
Martin left the Miami Dolphins in 2013 amid allegations he was a victim of racist bullying from his teammates.
His former teammate, Richie Incognito, was investigated by the NFL Players Association over allegations that he was the ringleader of the abuse.
