Meghan McCain Explodes At 'The View' Producers Over 'Unfair Treatment' From Joy Behar
Feb. 11 2019, Updated 7:15 p.m. ET
Meghan McCain went off at The View producers on Monday after enduring what she claimed was “unfair treatment” from her co-host Joy Behar, a source exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
The outspoken co-hosts got into an on-air argument during the Feb. 11 episode when Joy Behar, 76, led a discussion about Senator Amy Klobuchar’s 2020 presidential bid. As Behar mentioned President Donald Trump’s tweet about Klobuchar, McCain, 34, jumped in to give her two cents and immediately was cut off.
“Can I get through this please?” Behar said to McCain.
Minutes later, McCain sarcastically asked Behar for permission to speak on the topic.
“Can I say something now? Is that ok? Do I have permission to speak now on Amy Klobuchar now? We’re all good?” McCain said while pointing at Behar.
But it wasn’t long until McCain was visibly offended again. “Alright, nope, nope, by all means, keep going, Joy,” she told Behar.
“If you’re going to have a hissy fit, we can’t continue,” Behar responded.
A source dished to RadarOnline.com that the on-air feud left McCain heated and “losing patience.”
After Monday’s episode wrapped, the source said McCain “blew up” at producers for repeatedly taking Behar’s side.
“She’s upset of the unfair treatment,” said the source.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, sources claimed The View execs recently vowed to stand “100% behind” Behar after she came under fire for a resurfaced clip discussing her blackface Halloween costume.
Meanwhile, McCain is back in the hot seat at the morning talk show after taking a month-long hiatus last September following her father’s passing.
