Meghan Markle Wants Mom Doria To Walk Her Down Aisle Amid Dad’s Heart Surgery
Meghan Markle’s fairytale wedding to Prince Harry suffered yet another setback when her father Thomas Markle announced that he will not be walking his daughter down the aisle after an emergency heart surgery.
And now, just days before the 36-year-old former Suits actress gets ready to say ‘I Do’ on May 19, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned she has chosen a replacement for her ailing dad — her 61-year-old yoga instructor mom, Doria Ragland!
“Meghan wants her mother to walk her down the aisle this weekend and although it seems like a logical replacement for her dad, she is awaiting the Queen’s approval,” a source close to the royal family said.
It seems that Doria is already preparing for her new role, as she landed in Heatherow airport in London today, where she was escorted to the palace to meet the royal family.
As fans know, Thomas came under fire last week when it was revealed that he worked with paparazzi to stage photos in exchange for money.
