Keith married Iris despite his worries on Married At First Sight. But the hard part wasn’t tying the knot with a stranger! In an exclusive sneak peek, Iris’ overprotective father lays down the law.

In the clip, Iris’ mother asked Keith for the date of his birthday. She was impressed to learn that he knew the date of Iris’ birthday. But the correct answer didn’t impress Iris’ father!

“You got anymore easy questions?” he asked his wife. “I’m looking at her and I’m looking at you.”

He then said to a nervous Keith, “You know I have to have the daddy talk, right?”

On last week’s episode, Keith was hesitant to marry a stranger.

“The anxiety has gone from an 8 to an 11,” he said. “I never thought this day would come. My future wife is at most 100 yards away. My mind is everywhere.”

He then added that he has “mixed emotions” even though he got his parents’ blessing.

“Truthfully, I don’t know if I could go through with getting married at first sight," he said.

Married at First Sight airs Wednesdays at 8:30/7:30c on Lifetime.
