‘Married At First Sight’ Star Mia Divorced From Tristan Because Of ‘Conflict’

Yet another Married at First Sight couple called it quits when Mia Bally filed for divorce from Tristan Thompson earlier this month. Now, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the ex-couple’s shocking divorce papers!
In court papers obtained from Dallas County District Court, Bally filed for divorce from Thompson on September 4, 2018.
“The marriage has become insupportable due to discord or conflict of personalities that destroys the legitimate ends of the marital relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation,” the petition for divorce read.
Although their marriage was tumultuous, it appears the exes are making an effort to have an amicable divorce.
“Petitioner and respondent both appear that each are entitled to their own personal property acquired prior to the marriage and are not entitled to any portion, whatsoever, of the other spouse’s personal property acquired prior to the marriage,” the papers continued.
Bally is also asking the court to restore her maiden name.
The filing comes after the couple faced a series of issues early on in their marriage.
A warrant was issued for Bally’s arrest for three counts of stalking and one count of unauthorized use of an access card on February 6, 2018. Bally was arrested on March 28, 2018 at the airport in July while on her way to her honeymoon with Thompson.
When she was released, she claimed her identity was stolen and police arrested the wrong person. She then admitted to lying about the arrest.
Although Thompson considered leaving his wife, he stood by Bally.
But trouble hit the couple again when he caught her on a dating app.
“I don’t trust you,” he told Bally on an episode. “There’s a cloud that’s hovering around that’s stopping me from falling in love with you.”
She snapped back, “I didn’t get Married at First Sight to be with someone who doesn’t trust me.”
People was the first to report on the divorce.
