‘She Was Furious!’ Inside Mark Harmon’s Nasty Feud With Co-Star Pauley Perrette

Pauley Perrette said goodbye to NCIS on Tuesday night’s heartbreaking episode. After it was revealed a feud with co-star Mark Harmon led to her departure after 15 seasons, RadarOnline.com can now exclusively reveal more on the blowout fight that forced the actress to quit the series.
In October 2016, Harmon’s rescue dog Dave bit a crewmember on the set of the CBS drama, leaving the victim with a gash that took 16 stitches to close.
“Mark was obviously horrified and made sure that Dave went through re-training and was frequently checked by his vet,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “Despite this, Mark made the decision to not bring Dave back to the set.”
But last season, Harmon, 66, was forced to bring the dog to work because he had no one to watch him during an 18 to 19-hour shoot.
“Mark took precautions and made sure to keep Dave confined to his Airstream for the majority of the day,” the insider claimed. “All of the cast and crew were fine with the arrangements, apart from Pauley.”
Perrette, 49, was allegedly “furious” over Harmon bringing his pooch in and “refused to listen to him” when he tried to explain the situation.
“After that Pauley just lost it and starting shouting at Mark,” the insider claimed. “She said that he should never have adopted a Pitbull in the first place.”
But their feud didn’t stop there, as the source claimed she began to act like “a bit of a diva on set from that point on.”
“She refused to shoot scenes with Mark and she refused to sit on the same side of the table as him at table reads,” the insider alleged. “She even completely ignored him any time he tried to make amends.”
The insider continued that Perrette, who played forensic scientist Abby Sciuto, also left the show because of her heartbreak over losing show runner Gary Glasberg, who passed away in his sleep at the age of 50 in September 2016.
“Everyone, including Mark, has tried to remain as supportive as possible,” the insider said.
RadarOnline.com broke the feud in December 2017.
“She doesn’t feel safe on set and she doesn’t want to be around his dog,” a source previously told RadarOnline.com. “Pauley doesn’t agree with it. She doesn’t think it’s right for Mark to expose anyone else to a possible attack.”
The insider claimed she felt Harmon was “putting people in danger and was very upset.”
Perrette announced her departure from the show in October 2017.
“It is true that I am leaving NCIS after this season,” she posted on Twitter. “It was a decision I made last year. I hope everyone will love and enjoy everything Abby not only for the rest of the season but for everything she has given all of us for 16 years. All the love, all the laughter, all the inspiration… I love her as much as you do.”
